Take a day trip from Marrakech to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. You’ll get to know the Berber culture while exploring the area. Walk down winding paths and enjoy beautiful views of the waterfalls on a boat ride.
Your day begins with a ride from your hotel or riad. You’ll travel about 93 miles (150 km) north of Marrakech to reach these stunning waterfalls.
When you arrive in Ouzoud village, you’ll see waterfalls that drop 360 feet (110 meters) into a pool. Follow a local guide through olive tree fields to a place where they make argan oil, and you’ll learn about Berber culture. You can also take great photos and enjoy the scenery.
Then, follow paths to a spot where you can buy fresh orange juice. Afterward, hop on a traditional boat for a quick ride on the pool at the base of the waterfalls. Later on, have a late lunch at a local restaurant with a view of the falls, Berber style.
In the afternoon, climb some stairs to leave the valley and head back to Marrakech.
