You’ll leave early in the morning from Agadir or Taghazout and take the highway to Marrakech. It’s about a 3-hour drive, with some breaks along the way as you cross the High Atlas mountains. Eventually, you’ll reach Marrakech.
Once you’re in Marrakech, a local guide will meet you, and you’ll start a walking tour of the old part of the city, called the Medina. First, you’ll stop outside the historic Koutoubia Mosque and then walk through the Jamaa El Fna square.
You can choose to buy a ticket to visit the Bahia Palace. If you want to see both the Bahia Palace and Badii Palace, you’ll need to leave the group temporarily and arrange a meeting point with your guide for lunch (lunch cost is not included in the tour).
After your guided tour, you’ll have some free time to explore the local markets, haggle with the vendors, and try some delicious street food for lunch.
Later, you’ll meet up with your driver, and the journey back to your hotel in Agadir will begin. You can expect to arrive back in Agadir around 9:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
If you need information about Marrakech day trips from Agadir, it’s a good idea to check with local tour providers or do some online research for options and prices.
